The PIC16F73-I/SP is a 28-pin, 8-bit CMOS Flash-based microcontroller from Microchip Technology, Inc. It is based on the PIC® 16F73 core and has four kilobytes of Flash program memory, 128 bytes of SRAM data, and seven special function hardware peripherals. The PIC16F73-I/SP has an operating frequency of 20MHz and can execute up to 150 instructions per instruction cycle, enabling it to perform more complex tasks. The device also features an integrated, temperature-controlled oscillator that eliminates the need for an external crystal or RC network. Some of the key features of the PIC16F73-I/SP include four PWM channels with programmable PWM duty resets, an 8-bit 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter, two EUSART modules for serial communication, an I²C™ module with fast-mode support, three capture/compare/timer modules, and an in-circuit serial programming capability. The PIC16F73-I/SP is available in the 28-pin plastic DIP package, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications, including automotive, consumer, and industrial.
