The MikroElektronika BRUSHLESS 21 CLICK board is a brushless motor driver with a Click board interface, I2C, PWM, and AMT49400 chipset. It is designed for controlling three-phase brushless motors, such as those used in flying drones, robots, agricultural machinery, and other mechatronic devices. It is equipped with a three-phase brushless driver IC (the AMT49400) from Fairchild, a 3.3V LDO regulator, an optically isolated I2C buffer, an optically isolated open-drain PWM driver, and an optically isolated open-drain EN (enable) input. It also includes a protection IC to ensure the board's galvanic isolation from input to output. The board is powered from input voltage 8V to 36V and it can step up or step down the input voltage according to the needs of the motor. The board supports I2C communication for high speed, high accuracy, and on-the-fly control configuration. It also supports open-drain PWM and EN inputs, allowing the user to choose the mode of operation according to their needs. Furthermore, the board includes the necessary components to protect the system from overvoltage and undervoltage scenarios. In addition, the board includes a LED voltage indicator, allowing easy voltage monitoring.
