MPM3683-7 2.7V-16V, 8A, Step-Down Power Module in QFN (7x7x4mm) Package DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPM3683-7 is an easy-to-use, fully Wide Input Voltage Range from 2.7V integrated, step-down, DC/DC power module o 2.7V to 16V with External 3.3V Bias with 8A of continuous current and 10A of peak o 4V to 16V with Internal Bias or External current. The MPM3683-7 integrates a DC/DC 3.3V Bias converter, power inductor, and some basic Differential Output Voltage Remote Sense passive components. Technique Adaptive Constant-on-Time (COT) for The MPM3683-7 uses constant-on-time (COT) Ultrafast Transient Response control to provide fast transient response and Stable with Zero-ESR Output Capacitor ease loop stabilization. 0.5% Reference Voltage over 0C to +70C The operating frequency can be set to 600kHz, Junction Temperature Range 800kHz, or 1000kHz easily with the MODE 1% Reference Voltage from -40C to configuration, allowing the MPM3683-7 +125C Junction Temperature Range frequency to remain constant regardless of the Selectable Pulse Skip or Forced Continuous input and output voltages. Conduction Mode (CCM) Operation The MPM3683-7 has an internal soft-start (SS) Excellent Load Regulation timer of about 1.6ms.
