The HEF4017BT652 is a 5-stage Johnson decade counter integrated circuit manufactured by Nexperia. The device is a silicon monolithic CMOS integrated circuit and operates from a supply voltage of 4.5 V to 15 V. It features a low power consumption of only 20 µA. The HEF4017BT652 can be used as counters, dividers, frequency dividers, and shift register applications. It has ten outputs, each with its own pin, and each can be set to either a high or low level. The outputs provide impulses which can be used to turn on other ICs or to start a sequence of events. It also features synchronizing input pins which allow the chip to be synchronized with an external signal.
