The CYPC817 with Optocouplers Through Hole RoHS is an optocoupler module manufactured by OCIC. It is a single-channel, low-cost, high-isolation, optically-coupled digital isolation device. The CYPC817 offers 4kV rated isolation voltage, and is UL, CSA, VDE and EN recognized. It is RoHS compliant with a maximum surge voltage of 5kV and features an Isolation Grade of Class I. The CYPC817 is designed to provide reliable isolation between digital logic circuits and other circuits operating at higher voltages and currents, such as high voltage LEDs, amplifiers, AC power lines and other devices. It includes a phototransistor and a gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared LED in one package. The CYPC817 is available in a standard dual-inline package (DIP) with leads for through-hole mounting.
