Current Mode Resonant Controller, with Integrated High-Voltage Drivers, High Performance NCP1399 Series www.onsemi.com The NCP1399 is a high performance current mode controller for half bridge resonant converters. This controller implements 600 V gate drivers, simplifying layout and reducing external component count. The builtin BrownOut input function eases implementation of the 16 controller in all applications. In applications where a PFC front stage is 1 needed, the NCP1399 features a dedicated output to drive the PFC SOIC16 NB controller. This feature together with dedicated skip mode technique (LESS PINS 2 AND 13) further improves light load efficiency of the whole application. The D SUFFIX CASE 751DU NCP1399 provides a suite of protection features allowing safe operation in any application. This includes: overload protection, overcurrent protection to prevent hard switching cycles, brownout detection, open MARKING DIAGRAM optocoupler detection, automatic deadtime adjust, overvoltage (OVP) 16 and overtemperature (OTP) protections.
