It features an advanced current-mode architecture and operating frequencies up to 500kHz. The device has an internal overcurrent comparator, and a programmable reference voltage for up to 12A peak output current. It also allows for adjustable soft-start, and features an externally adjustable current limit setting. The package options include from a Surface Mounted Device (SMD) to Power SIP8.
