DATASHEET DG444, DG445 FN3586 Rev 1.00 Monolithic, Quad SPST, CMOS Analog Switches Jun 4, 2007 The DG444 and DG445 monolithic CMOS analog switches Features are drop-in replacements for the popular DG211 and DG212 ON Resistance (Max) . 85 series devices. They include four independent single pole single throw (SPST) analog switches and TTL and CMOS Low Power Consumption (P ) . <35W D compatible digital inputs. Fast Switching Action These switches feature lower analog ON resistance (<85 ) -t (Max) . 250ns ON and faster switch time (t <250ns) compared to the DG211 ON -t (Max, DG444) . 140ns OFF and DG212. Charge injection has been reduced, simplifying Low Charge Injection sample and hold applications. Upgrade from DG211, DG212 The improvements in the DG444 series are made possible TTL, CMOS Compatible by using a high voltage silicon-gate process. An epitaxial layer prevents the latch-up associated with older CMOS Single or Split Supply Operation technologies. The 44V maximum voltage range permits Pb-Free Plus Anneal Available (RoHS Compliant) controlling 20V signals when operating with 20V power supplies. Applications The four switches are bilateral, equally matched for AC or Audio Switching bidirectional signals. The ON resistance variation with analog signals is quite low over a 5V analog input range. Battery Operated Systems The switches in the DG444 and DG445 are identical, Data Acquisition differing only in the polarity of the selection logic.
