The SI8421BB-C-IS is a digital isolator manufactured by Silicon Labs. It is a 2.5 kV device with one forward and one reverse 2-channel isolator providing true bidirectional signal isolation. It also offers isolated transmission speeds up to 10 kbps, with a propagation delay of only 2.4 µs. This part is designed to protect sensitive circuits from high-voltage spikes and EMI, and is suitable for a wide range of industrial and medical applications. The device is RoHS-compliant and supplied in an 8-pin SOIC package.
