SI8430BB-D-IS1 Silicon Labs

The Silicon Labs SI8430BB-D-IS1 is a 3-channel digital isolator with 2.5 kV of isolation designed to enable the transmission of digital signals across a galvanic isolation barrier. It provides isolation of signals in applications including industrial automation, electronic power systems, automatic test equipment, and medical systems. The SI8430bb-D-IS1 utilizes Silicon Labs’ patented Sagola™ technology to ensure superior, reliable isolation performance while utilizing a compact package size. The device achieves 2.5 kV RMS (1 minute) galvanic isolation with a compact 6 mm x 10 mm package size and 0.7 mm creepage. It provides high performance isolation from noise and interference, along with excellent data integrity and 1.8 Mbps data rate.The device features three independent, isolated channels and 0.4 µA max sleep mode supply current for power savings in idle periods. The SI8430BB-D-IS1 supports a wide voltage range of 4–30 V and is rated for 500 mils for in-system soldering. The device meets stringent industrial standards and is rated for temperatures from -40 °C to +125 °C, enabling it to be used in extreme environment applications.
