The L6571BD is a STMicroelectronics gate driver hi-volt half bridge with integrated protection and diagnostic features offering optimal control of power switches. It is specially designed for driving the high and low side external power MOSFETs. It features voltage and temperature protection, a very low operating current and allows the user to control the pre-charging resistor and the active current sensing. It also features ActivedC short-circuit and cross conduction prevention, precise current sense control, and fast over-current detection. This gate driver is optimized for use in automotive and industrial systems, and is highly reliable and robust.
