The PKC-136 is a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) bus slave application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) from STMicroelectronics. It is designed for low-power, low voltage stress operations, and is compatible with any SPI host platform. It provides an interface from the SPI bus to an I2C bus and other low-speed peripheral devices. It has one master serial port (SPO) which is capable of running up to 25 MHz, and one slave serial port (SPI) which runs up to 25 MHz. The slave port supports two-wire (I2C) bus protocol, allowing support for a variety of chip and peripheral devices. In addition, the PKC-136 has two complementary inputs, two low/high converters, a watchdog timer, and an interrupt line.
