The STGAP2SCM Gate Drivers Industrial & Power Conversion device, manufactured by STMicroelectronics, is designed for driving SCM (smart control modules) in industrial and power conversion applications. The device combines two low-side OR-type gate drivers with inputs that are designed to be compatible with CMOS, FETs, and IGBTs, and is capable of driving power MOSFETs or IGBTs at output currents up to 3A. The device features protection against short-circuit, over-temperature, undervoltage lockout, and open-load conditions. Additionally, the device offers a choice of slew rates for gate driving, a wide operating temperature range of -40ºC to +125ºC, and a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V.
