STPS2L60A STMicroelectronics

The STPS2L60A is a Sensitive Triac small package power switching device produced by STMicroelectronics. It is a low-power 4-quadrant turn-off sensitive gate triac, ideal for use in low-voltage AC applications such as domestic ovens, electronic heating elements, washing machines, and other white goods. The device is rated to handle 8 Amperes of current in a small-sized 7.8 mm SO-8 package. It includes an integrated sensitive gate suitable for direct operation from logic levels, reducing the need for optocouplers. The device features snubberless and commutation for faster turn-off times and higher operating temperature range. The off-state and reverse-blocking voltages are 400 volts. The unidirectional version STPS2L60A is available with a peak repetitive off-state voltage of 400 volts. The repetitive peak off-state current rating is 0.7 mA. It features a maximum on-state voltage of 1.1 V and a maximum spread of on-state voltage of <1 V.
