Thermal shutdown protection and diagnosis Active V pin voltage clamp protects the device CC Undervoltage shutdown against low energy spikes (see ISO7637 transient compatibility table). Overvoltage clamp Output stuck to V detection Active current limitation combined with thermal CC shutdown and automatic restart protects the Load current limitation device against overload. The device detects Reverse battery protection open-load condition both is on-state and off-state. Electrostatic discharge protection Output shorted to V is detected in the off-state.
