The XL0840 with SCRs 0.8 Amp 400 Volt manufactured by STMicroelectronics is a surface mount, four quadrant phase control SCR module. It is ideal for use in circuits where precise control of current, voltage, and power is needed. It features a 0.8-amp continuous current rating, 400V peak blocking voltage, and an isolation voltage of 1500V. The device offers an applocked deadband, positive or negative control firing, and two over current protection methods (direct and external). It also features industry-leading thermal performance and a reverse polarity protection diode. The device is also UL, CSA and TUV approved.
