The TDK MPU-6500 with IMUs 6-Axis MEMS MotionTracking Device with DMP is a highly sophisticated inertial measurement unit (IMU) with integrated motion-tracking functionality. This MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) device contains a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, and a Digital Motion Processor DMP to enable precise, accurate and faster motion data capture. The IMUs provide a high level of accuracy for motion tracking, whether it be a robotic or any other type of motion tracking system, while the larger pattern recognition processing is done with the digital motion processor.
