The WS1830 with RF Transceiver ICs SOP-16 RoHS is a miniature surface-mount radio module designed for wireless personal area networks (WPAN) applications. It is manufactured by VIBRATION, a trade name of Wuxi Sansurfer Technologies Co., Ltd. The WS1830 module uses Cypress Semiconductor’s CYRF6936 low-power RF transceiver IC, which operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and is compliant with the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) specification 4.2. The module has an operating voltage of 1.5 to 3.7 V, with a typical operating current of 6.5 mA. It has a transmit (TX) output power up to +4 dBm and a receive (RX) sensitivity of -92 dBm. The WS1830 module is equipped with an integrated power amplifier, system-on-chip (SoC), and power management unit, and includes an integrated temperature sensor. The module is available in a 16-pin SOP form factor, and is RoHS compliant.
