DG1408E, DG1409E www.vishay.com Vishay Siliconix 3.9 , 8-Channel / Dual 4-Channel, 15 V, +12 V, 5 V Precision Multiplexers DESCRIPTION FEATURES The DG1408E is a precision analog multiplexer comprising 35 V supply max. rating eight single-ended channels. The DG1409E is a dual four 3.9 typical and 4.2 max. on-resistance at single-ended channels analog multiplexer. Built on a new 25 C CMOS process, the Vishay Siliconix DG1408E and 0.59 on-resistance flatness DG1409E offer low on-resistance of 3.9 . The low and flat Channel to channel on-resistance match: 0.27 resistance over the full signal range provides excellent linearity and low signal distortion. The new CMOS platform Up to 250 mA continuous current also ensures ultra low power dissipation, minimized Supports single and dual supply operation parasitic capacitance, and low charge injection. Fully specified at 15 V, +12 V, and 5 V The DG1408E and DG1409E can operate from either a Integrated VL supply single 4.5 V to 24 V power supply, or from dual 4.5 V to Low voltage logic compatible inputs, V = 2 V, V = 0.8 V 15 V power supplies. The DG1408E connects one of eight IH IL inputs to a common output as determined by a 3-bit binary BBM (break-before-make switching) address (A0, A1, A2). The DG1409E connects one of four Low parasitic capacitance: inputs to a common output for both multiplexers as DG1408E, C = 13 pF, C = 104 pF S(off) D(on) determined by a 2-bit binary address (A0 and A1). DG1409E, C = 13 pF, C = 70 pF S(off) D(on) Break-before-make switching action protects against Rail to rail signal handling momentary crosstalk between adjacent channels. The part does not require a VL logic supply, while all digital inputs QFN16, 4 mm 4 mm packages have 0.8 V and 2 V logic thresholds to ensure low-voltage Material categorization: for definitions of compliance TTL / CMOS compatibility.
