The Vishay SFH615A-4 is an infrared receiver module, designed for use with consumer remote control applications. It features a four-pin TSOP surface mount package and has an integrated photo detector and a preamplifier, offering high sensitivity with a wide angle of acceptance from 67°-78°. This infrared receiver module is based on Vishay’s propriety technology in a miniature, low-cost package. It supports a wide range of modulation frequencies, including 33 kHz, 36 kHz, 38 kHz and 40 kHz, and has a low supply current of 2.6 mA (typical) at 5 V.
