The TSOP4838 is a type of infrared (IR) remote control receiver module made by Vishay. It is a 38KHz IR receiver module that can be used in a wide variety of applications such as TV remote controllers, audio/video remote controllers, and home automation systems. It features a high sensitivity and wide operating voltage range of 2.4 to 5.5V. It is also designed with a wide operating temperature range of -25 to +85°C, allowing it to work in a variety of environmental conditions. The TSOP4838 comes in a surface-mount type package and has an output range of 5.5V with a connection type of SMD soldering pin.
