The LM7812 is a three-pin +12V Voltage Regulator, manufactured by Continental Device India Limited (CDIL). It is a linear, fixed output, switching power supply with a fixed output voltage of 12VDC, rated at up to 2 Amps. It features a TO-220-3 (THT) package and can withstand temperatures from 0°C to 125°C. The LM7812 offers excellent electrical specifications and an enhanced current-limiting capability with low dropout voltage. It also features short-circuit protection and thermal overload protection for added reliability.
