The FMD40-06KC is an insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) module made by IXYS Corporation. It is a medium power module, suitable for a range of power applications in the 40 Amperes to 60 Amperes range. The module has a collector to emitter breakdown voltage of 600V, a collector current rating of 40 Amperes and a forward current gain of 10. It is designed to have low losses, low EMI and fast switching times. The module is suitable for use in motor control, AC/DC motor drives and power conversion applications. It has a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C, so it is suitable for use in extreme temperature environments.
