The A1240A-PL84I is a flash-based 8-bit microcontroller manufactured by Microchip. It is a low-cost, low-power device designed for use in embedded systems. It consists of 1K bytes of flash memory, 21K bytes of SRAM, an 8-bit microcontroller core, and a 14-pin I/O port. The microcontroller core provides high-end features such as an internal oscillator, watchdog timer, multiple interrupt sources, and I/O ports for peripherals.
