The ATM90E32AS-AU-Y is a digital energy metering IC made by Microchip. It is able to measure power, energy, and various related parameters such as frequency, power factor, and voltage. The energy measurement is based on 4-quadrant measurements which enable its use in many different applications. It has a wide operating temperature range and is capable of meeting IEC 61000-4-30 Class A/B accuracy requirements. It also features several digital and analogue interfaces, including SPI, I2C, and UART, allowing greater flexibility and customization.
