The DS3106LN is a CAN, LIN, and SPI-controlled motor driver from Microchip. It is designed for low-voltage brushless DC (BLDC) motors, such as those found in automotive, aerospace and industrial applications. The device integrates an adjustable speed current vector controller, four drivers, three high-side driver outputs, built-in self-protection, low noise EMI performance and up to 30A of peak current. The DS3106LN is suitable for driving BLDC motors with Hall effect sensors and quadrature encoder sensors, as well as a variety of other motors, such as AC induction, brush DC and stepper motors.
