MP28119 Ultra-small 1.7MHz, 600mA, Low-Voltage Synchronous Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP28119 is a 1.7MHz constant frequency, High Efficiency: Up to 89% current mode, ultra-small PWM step-down 1.7MHz Constant Switching Frequency converter. The device integrates a main switch 600mA Available Load Current and a synchronous rectifier for high efficiency 2.5V to 6V Input Voltage Range and eliminates the needs for an external 100% Duty Cycle in Dropout schottky diode. It is ideal for powering portable Current Mode Control equipment that runs from a single cell Lithium- Short Circuit Protection Ion (Li+) battery. The MP28119 can supply Thermal Fault Protection 600mA of load current from a 2.5V to 6V input Output Discharge Function voltage. <0.1 A Shutdown Current The output voltages of the MP28119EG-1.0 and 1.0V and 1.2V Fixed Out-put Versions MP28119EG-1.2 are fixed at 1.0V and 1.2V Ultra-Small 2x2 QFN Package respectively. The MP28119 can also run at 100% duty cycle APPLICATIONS for low dropout applications. Cellular and Smart Phones The MP28119 has an output discharge function Microprocessors and DSP Core Supplies that controls the discharging of the output PDAs capacitor.
