The NTE3028 LED IrLED 940nm 2-Pin TO-18 is a semiconductor device designed for use in optoelectronic applications. The device is designed using a Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) infrared light emitting diode (LED), with a peak wavelength of 940nm. The device has a dual lead through-hole package, with leads forming a TO-18, for direct soldering to a PCB. With an optical power of 1mW/sr, the device is suitable for applications requiring high intensity illumination, such as fiber optic data transmission links. The device is manufactured by NTE Electronics and housed in a RoHS compliant 2-pin TO-18 package.
