Please note: As part of the Fairchild Semiconductor integration, some of the Fairchild orderable part numbers
will need to change in order to meet ON Semiconductors system requirements. Since the ON Semiconductor
product management systems do not have the ability to manage part nomenclature that utilizes an underscore
(_), the underscore (_) in the Fairchild part numbers will be changed to a dash (-). This document may contain
device numbers with an underscore (_). Please check the ON Semiconductor website to verify the updated
device numbers. The most current and up-to-date ordering information can be found at www.onsemi.com. Please
email any questions regarding the system integration to Fairchild_questions@onsemi.com.

74LCX760
Low Voltage Buffer/Line Driver
with 5V Tolerant Inputs and Open Drain Outputs
General Description Features
The LCX760 is the Open Drain version of the LCX244. The Open drain version of the LCX244
LCX760 contains eight non-inverting buffers with 3-STATE
5V tolerant inputs and outputs
outputs. The device may be employed as a memory

address driver, clock driver and bus-oriented transmitter/
8.0 ns t max (V 3.3V), 10 PA I max
receiver. The LCX760 is designed for low voltage (2.5V or PD CC CC
3.3V) V applications with capability of interfacing to a 5V
CC Power down high impedance inputs and outputs
signal environment.
Supports live insertion/withdrawal (Note 1)
The LCX760 is fabricated with an advanced CMOS tech-

CMOS low power dissipation.
Latch-up conforms to JEDEC JED78
ESD performance:
Human body model ! 2000V
Machine model ! 200V
Note 1: To ensure the high-impedance state during power up or down, OE
should be tied to V through a pull-up resistor: the minimum value or the
CC
resistor is determined by the current-sourcing capability of the driver.
