FCM8531QY is an ultra-low quiescent current, synchronous, step-down, DC/DC converter offered by ON Semiconductor. It supports a VIN range of 2.5V to 5.5V with a maximum output current of 1A and high efficiency conversion. The integrated 600kHz switching frequency provides the lowest BOM count and solution size without compromising the performance. The converter’s high-accuracy voltage regulation point and optimal transient response makes it ideal for powering applications such as IoT sensors and battery powered system. The internal LDO allows the device to provide supply to the VCC pin and to maintain a low Iq for operation in light load. The integrated short-circuit and over-temperature protection make it robust and reliable.
