FPF2281 Over-Voltage Protection Load Switch FPF2281 Over-Voltage Protection Load Switch Description Features The FPF2281 features a low -R internal FET and an ON Surge Protection operating range of 2.5 V to 25 V (absolute DC DC - IEC 61000-4-5: > 100 V maximum of 29 V ). An internal clamp is capable of DC shunting surge voltages >100 V, protecting dow nstream Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) components and enhancing system robustness. The Over-Temperature Protection (OTP) FPF2281 features over-voltage protection that pow ers down the internal FET if the input voltage exceeds the ESD Protection OVP threshold. The OVP threshold is adjustable with - Human Body Model (HBM): > 3.5 kV optional external resistors. Over-temperature protection - Charged Device Model (CDM): > 2 kV also powers down the device at 130C (typical). Exceptionally low off-state current (<1 A maximum) - IEC 61000-4-2 Air Discharge: > 15 kV facilitates compliance w ith standby pow er requirements. - IEC 61000-4-2 Contact Discharge: > 8 kV The FPF2281 is available in a fully green compliant 1.3 mm 1.8 mm Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package Applications (WLCSP) w ith backside laminate.
