NCL30051 PFC and Half-Bridge Resonant Combo Controller for LED Lighting The NCL30051 is a combination of PFC and halfbridge resonant controllers optimized for offline LED lighting solutions. This www.onsemi.com device integrates all the features needed to implement a highly MARKING efficient and small form factor LED Driver/Power Supply. It contains DIAGRAM a critical conduction mode (CrM) power factor correction (PFC) boost controller and a halfbridge resonant controller with a builtin 16 SOIC16 600 V driver. The halfbridge stage operates at a fixed frequency, NCL30051G D SUFFIX greatly simplifying the control implementations. The output (current AWLYWW CASE 751B or voltage) regulation is achieved by adjusting the PFC stage output 1 voltage based on a control signal generated external to the NCL30051.
