The BCX51-16 is a NPN switching transistor manufactured by Shikues in a SOT-89 package which is compliant with the RoHS directive. This transistor is designed for use with very low power supply voltages and is constructed with three layers of semiconductor material which form a junction between the collector and emitter region. The device is designed to optimise current gain and switching speed with low operating temperatures. It features high breakdown voltage, low noise characteristics, and integrated protection diodes for protection against over-current and over-voltage. This device is ideal for use in a variety of applications such as digital logic, power switching circuits, flip-flops, amplifiers, modulators, detectors, and more.
