The SI4438-C2A-GMR RF Transceiver TXRX SubG +20/-124dBm is manufactured by Silicon Labs and is a highly integrated radio transceiver IC designed for ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) band applications. It features a direct conversion receiver (DCR) architecture and a unique combination of on-chip features including: frequency agility, fast frequency hopping, RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication), and low current consumption. The receiver has noise filtering, signal demodulation, packet handling, and CRC checking functions. The RF data rate can be varied from 0.1 to 500 kbps. The transmit power is adjustable up to 20 dBm. In addition, it also has standard DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) modulation and FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum). The module is also FCC, IC, ETSI, and TELEC compliant.
