The STPMIC1DPQR from STMicroelectronics is a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) with four buck switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) featuring voltage adjustment and 14 output rails. It also features Boost and Bypass functions. The PMIC can be used for applications requiring low noise and high efficiency such as automotive audio systems, set-top boxes, and white goods. It is designed to supply high current at low ripple noise, helping reduce design size and cost. A versatile range of functionality is offered, including voltage tracking, soft start, detailed monitoring, over-Current and Predictive Over-Current protection, as well as phase spread operation to reduce switching losses. The power system is composed of four buck regulators and ten linear regulator outputs that can be used for power management of multiple power domains or a single power domain.
