The VN920DB5-E is intended for Undervoltage shutdown driving any type of load with one side connected to ground. The active V pin voltage clamp Overvoltage clamp CC protects the device against low energy spikes Output stuck to V detection CC (see ISO7637 transient compatibility table). Load current limitation Active current limitation combined with thermal Reverse battery protection shutdown and automatic restart protects the device against overload. The device detects the Electrostatic discharge protection open-load condition in both the on-state and off-state. In the off-state the device detects if the output is shorted to V . The device automatically CC turns-off in the case where the ground pin becomes disconnected. Table 1.
