The SN74HC273N is a 8-bit D-type edge-triggered flip-flop with a latch from Texas Instruments. It is a CMOS component providing high noise immunity, low power consumption and error free operation down to low voltage levels. It has 8 flip-flops with independent data and clock inputs and complementary outputs. When clock is low, data is transferred to the register and held until the next falling transition of clock. Outputs reflect the data stored in the flip-flop on the low going transition of the clock. It has a power supply of 2 V-6 V and a minimum operating power supply of 2 V. It has a typical propagation delay time of 15 ns and a typical power dissipation of 600 mW.
