The AS7C4096A-12TCNTR is a part of the Alliance Memory family of flash memory products and is a low-power CMOS configuration asynchronous SRAM. This device is a complete memory system including all the necessary support logic and packaging. It is available in a 14 pin tiny outline package (TOPS-14) with a 3.3V core supply.
The AS7C4096A-12TCNTR has a non-multiplexed, asynchronous address/data bus system, eliminating the address decoding logic required in other high-density designs. This device offers 4096 words of 12 bits each, organized as 16K x 12. The device is prepared to accept an active-low CS signal, providing improved system control. It features automatic power-down when CS is high, eliminating the need for complex power management. Automatic power-up is accomplished during the first valid write cycle after CS is low. Additional features include programmable output drive, byte controlled write operations, 8 MHz spring and autumn clock rates, programmable output compatibility, watchdog timer and power-up reset, asynchronous write operations for increased performance, automatic write operations to protect system integrity, and a built-in write-protect mode.
