MAX86916 Integrated Optical Sensor Module for Mobile Health General Description Benefits and Features The MAX86916 is an integrated optical sensor platform Miniature 3.5mm x 7.0mm x 1.5mm, 14-Pin Optical with applications in bio-sensing, proximity, and color. It Module includes internal LEDs, photodetectors, and low-noise Optical-Grade Glass for Long-Term Optimal and electronics with ambient-light-rejection circuitry. The Robust Performance MAX86916 helps ease design-in effort to all mobile and Ultra-Low-Power Operation for Mobile Device wearable devices. Ultra-Low Shutdown Current (0.7A, Typical) The MAX86916 operates on a 1.8V supply voltage, with a separate 5.5V power supply for the internal LEDs. Built-In Low Noise Crosstalk Cancellation Communication to and from the module is accomplished -40C to +85C Operating Temperature Range 2 entirely through a standard I C-compatible interface. The Reflective Heart Rate Monitor, Medical-Grade Pulse module can be shut down through software with near- Oximeter, and Bio-Optical Sensor Platform zero standby current, allowing the power rails to remain powered at all times.
