With support for up to eight 100GbE ports and more than 100 10GbE ports, the StrataXGS Trident-II+ switch series can be used to build highly scalable, lower power, feature-rich ToR switches. Together with spine switches built around the StrataXGS Tomahawk and StrataDNX switch series, the Trident-II+ series form the ideal combination to drive cloud scale networking adoption in the enterprise market. In addition, fabrics of BCM56868 with BCM56860 devices can be interconnected via the HiGig2 protocol to support multi-terabit chassis designs for large-scale data center, enterprise and service provider applications.
