The BC847A is a general-purpose NPN small-signal bipolar junction transistor (BJT) made by Continental Device India Limited (CDIL). It has a VCEO (Collector-Emitter Voltage) of 40V, a VCB (Collector-Base Voltage) of 80V, and a maximum collector current of 500mA. It is an excellent choice for switching and amplification applications. It can be used in a variety of circuits to amplify or switch small signals, such as in voltage regulators, audio amplifiers, and radio transmitters. It has a low noise figure and can switch signals at high speed with low distortion.
