BFX85 is a System-on-Chip (SoC) integrated circuit manufactured by Continental Devices India Limited (CDIL). It is a digital signal processor that integrates multiple functional blocks on one chip and functions as both, a digital signal processor and a universal analog switch IC. BFX85 can be used in applications such as automotive digital audio, speech synthesis, and other audio components, as well as motor-control and other industrial applications. The BFX85 also has on-chip data buses, flash memory and support for both binary and floating point operations. It is suitable for low power applications due to low power savings architecture, 8/16bit architecture, and fast switching devices and pulse capabilities. The BFX85 is versatile and programmable with its serial peripheral interface, internal timer, and a parallel interface port. This chip also features an integrated A/D converter, enhanced clock speed and is scaled to run at up to 50MHz.
