JTThe BC857B is a SOT-23 bipolar transistor BJT (BJT is a type of transistor) developed by Jingdao JT. It is a RoHS compliant device that is designed for general purpose switching and amplifier applications. It consists of three terminals: the base, the collector, and the emitter. It has a wide range of applicable voltages, with minimums between 6V and 36V, and allows for maximum collector currents from 500mA to almost 800mA. It is capable of high frequency operation, making it ideal for high-speed switching and amplification. It also has a low power consumption when in standby mode, and is a good choice for applications with power efficiency considerations.
