DATASHEET ISL6722A, ISL6723A FN9237 Rev 2.00 Flexible Single Ended Current Mode PWM Controllers September 29, 2015 The ISL6722A and the ISL6723A are low power, Pinouts single-ended pulse width modulating (PWM) current mode ISL6722A, ISL6723A (16 LD SOIC, TSSOP) controllers designed for a wide range of DC/DC conversion applications including boost, flyback, and isolated output GATE 1 16 VC configurations. Similar to, and pin compatible with the ISENSE 2 15 PGND ISL6721, the ISL6722A and ISL6723A offer a modified SYNC/SLEEP 3 14 VCC feature set. The ISL6722A replaces external synchronization with a low power SLEEP feature that reduces standby SLOPE 4 13 VREF current to under 200A. The ISL6723A changes the supply UV 5 12 LGND voltage UVLO threshold to 13V. Additionally, the internal OV 6 11 SS over temperature protection has been removed in both controllers. Other features remain the same and include a RTCT 7 10 COMP low power mode during overvoltage and overcurrent ISET 8 9 FB shutdown faults where the supply current drops to 200A. An internal 300ms delay timer prevents rapid hiccup ISL6722A (16 LD QFN) behavior when a shutdown fault does occur.
