It can be used as a two-terminal switch or as an amplifier. The low-noise gain-bandwidth product of this transistor makes it suitable for a wide range of applications including amplification, audio signal processing, and sensor interface circuits. Its maximum collector current rating is 650mA, and its high-temperature rating is 175°C.
