BC847 is a NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) manufactured by CDIL (Continental Device India Limited). It has a switching and amplifying feature, which makes it suitable for use in General Purpose Amplifier and Switching applications. It has a maximum power dissipation of 625 mW and a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 45 V. It also has good current gain (hFE) which can range from 110 to 670 depending on the collector current.
