SKY13421-486LF Block Diagram Ultra-miniature, QFN (14-pin, 1.6 x 1.6 mm) package (MSL1, 260 C per JEDEC J-STD-020) Description Skyworks Green products are compliant with The SKY13421-486LF is a pHEMT GaAs double-pole, double- all applicable legislation and are halogen-free. throw (DPxDT) switch designed for cellular infrastructure band For additional information, refer to Skyworks switching applications. This device is a paired DPDT switch, Denition of Green, document number controlled synchronously, that includes two single-pole, double- SQ04-0074. throw (SPDT) switches with RF lines that cross inside the chip. The internal crossed switch arrangement is designed to switch balanced RF filters. Switching is controlled by a single control voltage. Depending on 14 13 12 the logic voltage level applied to the control pin (VCTL), the RFCA GND 1 11 GND and RFCB pins are each connected to one of two switched RF outputs (RF1A, RF1B, RF2A, or RF2B) using a low insertion loss RF1B 2 10 RFCA path, while maintaining a high isolation path to the alternate port. RF2A 3 9 RFCB DC blocking capacitors are required on all RF ports. The switch is manufactured in a compact, 1.6 x 1.6 mm, 14-pin 4 8 GND GND 5 6 7 exposed pad plastic Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN) package. A functional block diagram is shown in Figure 1. The pin S2637 configuration and package are shown in Figure 2. Signal pin assignments and functional pin descriptions are provided in Figure 2. There is no damage to device with only one parameter set at the limit and all other parameters set at or below their nominal value. Exceeding any of the limits listed here may result in permanent damage to the device. CAUTION: Although this device is designed to be as robust as possible, electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage this device. This device must be protected at all times from ESD. Static charges may easily produce potentials of several kilovolts on the human body or equipment, which can discharge without detection. Industry-standard ESD precautions should be used at all times.
