It is a bipolar junction transistor (BJT) NPN type that has a maximum voltage rating of 250V with a maximum continuous current rating of 140mA. It is designed to be well suited for use as an analog switch for a variety of applications including telecommunication and motor control, and can be either driven directly from digital logic or from TTL logic for high speed switching. The BUF420AW features fast transition time, low on-state resistance, and low power dissipation.
