The LSM6DSLTR with IMUs is a consumer MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical Systems) manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is an inertial measurement unit consisting of a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope. The graphic user interface offers the possibility of auto-detect activation and output data-routing, among other features. It has a combined advanced core based on 32-bit ARM Cortex M0+ that facilitates the fusion of motion data and can be used in a variety of applications, such as tracking motion, detecting steps, detect motion direction, and providing a 3D view of user movements. It features a 16-bit digital, 4 kHz output data rate, an I2C/SPI digital output interface, as well as a high/low-pass and anti-aliasing filters for digital signal processing. It also has an integrated time-stamp counter, a sleep/wakeup mode, and a low consumption temperature-compensated gyroscope (TCG). Additionally, it is shock proof and RoHS compliant and comes in one of two packages - land grid array (LGA) and pin grid array (PGA).
