Additional Infomation About Product

FT201XS-U is a USB 2.0 full-speed FIFO IC from the FTDI family. It is a direct USB to synchronous FIFO interface with a data interface speed of up to 12 Mbytes/second. The FIFO provides a bridge between a conventional USB host and a synchronous FIFO interface on a target device. This allows the FT201XS-U to be used in any system with a USB interface that requires a high-speed synchronous data transfer. The FIFO also has a TTL UART serial interface which allows a number of external devices to be connected to the FT201XS-U, such as ASICs and shift registers. The FT201XS-U is a low cost and low power solution for any USB FIFO interface application.
